Yesterday I announced that I had published the website of Lively Little Linguists, who are going to be providing Spanish and French classes to young children but today I am delighted to highlight another customer's website that I have published this month.
This time it's the website of an English tutor based in York. Paul Eckert will not be teaching pupils as young as Lively Little Linguists, his customer base will be older children, such as those studying for their GCSEs and A levels. He provides assistance with reading and writing, exam preparation, coursework guidance and also proof reading help. He also provides English tuition to Key Stage 3 pupils.
When Paul came to me regarding his website, we embarked on building a website that was very different from the final result. It was only after we had started working on the website that Paul came to me with an alternative vision for how he wanted his website to look.
He wanted it to resemble a corkboard with notes pinned to it and therefore we went back to the drawing board and I started building the website that he has today. This was something that I was only too happy to do as the customer's satisfaction with his/her website is of the highest importance to me.
Paul shared some thoughts about the experience and his opinion of the finished article:
I am very pleased with my website. Matt was very patient, helpful and professional. His response time was always extremely fast, sometimes instantaneous! I was probably quite a demanding customer, completely changing the direction of the site and offering frequent suggestions; but this didn't phase Matt. He invariably knew the answers to my questions and took care of every request I made. He's designing two more sites for me, and I'm sure they'll be as brilliant as this one.
As Paul says, this is the first of three websites that he has asked me to build for him. Watch this space in the next few weeks and months, there's more to come!
For now, take a look at Paul's English Tutoring, just don't move any of the pins around. ;)
