Now is the Time to Invest in Your Digital Presence

As England Braces for a Second Lockdown Now is the Time to Invest in Your Digital Presence

England will go into a second nationwide lockdown starting Thursday, 5 November to control the disastrous impact of coronavirus, reduce hospitalisation and counter the impact on the NHS.

Restaurants, pubs, gyms and all non-essential businesses must close for four weeks starting Thursday. However, schools, colleges and universities can remain open. The restrictions are expected to be eased only after 2 December with a tiered system.

As a small business ourselves, we understand the difficulties of managing a business during these strange times. And that’s why the entire team of LS25 Web Design will be working remotely and remain open for business.

Now is the Time to Take Your Business Forward

These are tough times for business owners big and small. If you are a non-essential shop, keeping your business shut for another four weeks can be painful. However, this is the time to rethink your strategy, look for ways to pivot your business and recover swiftly when the lockdown restrictions are lifted in December.

Now is the time to look ahead and invest in your business. While your shop may be closed, your business plans needn’t be. More than ever before, this is an important time to invest in your online presence.

If you don’t have a website yet, now is the time to get one. A website or an e-commerce portal can put your business right in front of your target audience. With people staying at home, they are likely to spend more time online and plan their purchases, look for information to make decisions – all online.

If you already have a website, perhaps it’s a good time to take a good look at it in terms of SEO and conversions and get it refreshed if need be.

If your website is updated and current, look for ways to improve your online visibility.
